Oh, Heidi,

Don't worry about being behind. I totally feel you. It's been sick-central over here, so I haven't even gotten a chance to read anyone's post in the last couple of weeks. Don't think I would be on here now if it weren't for the fact it's MY blog. :)

It really is easy to make the limoncello. It's just patience.

I hope your doctor's appointments get you all better, soon.

xoxo,
Tia :P

Hi Wendy,

I saw the recipe before I started feeling the holiday overwhelm. (It's already here, now.) But, I got the lemons and vodka before I realized I couldn't find a jar. :) Had to keep them in the fridge for a while. I was surprised at how easy it was, especially since I used a potato peeler. Takes off the peel without getting the white stuff.

Oh, and Italy, a definite must. At least as far as I'm concerned. Especially if you like architecture and art. Just amazing to see David in person, and the Collisseum (sp?), etc. Can't wait to go again.

xoxo,
Tia :P

Hi Shirley,

Well, I hope you can find the organic lemons. I just don't know how well it would work with conventional, trying to scour off the pesticides. It smells so good, and I'm only half way done.

I'm excited about the vanilla. I had no idea it was so easy. Making an extra for me.

I remember about the pie. I think that is so awesome. My mom made a chocolate cake for my cousin one year because he liked it so much. No one was allowed to touch the cake. And he enjoyed every bite.

xoxo,
Tia

PS - Can't wait to see what else you have cooked up.
