**Update** This contest is now closed. Thank you to all of those that participated. The winner is listed below.**

A lot of sugar has been going around. It’s the holidays, after all. Well, here’s a little bit more for you.

A while ago, I was sent a couple of products from Katz Gluten-Free to try. Vanilla Rugelach and Frosted Chocolate Cupcakes. (They were free to me. There. Disclaimer done.) So, I will be going from my memory on this review because I am still recovering. As I said in my last post, I got gluten-ed. It hit me on Christmas day, and I am still not back to normal. Surviving on gluten-free oatmeal and gluten-free toast with peanut butter.

Anyway, I do remember that I liked both of them. I had tried the chocolate rugelach before, and I really liked that. The vanilla rugelach is like a light version of the chocolate one. Very nice.

And chocolate cupcakes… Well, enough said, right? Unless you don’t like chocolate, and then… well, there’s just no hope for you. Sorry. Plus, they have sprinkles! I miss sprinkles. I am so hoping the Little Man likes sprinkles so I can get excited about them, again. Everything is better with sprinkles, don’t you think?

But, let’s talk about Katz Gluten-Free, the company for a minute. Katz products are made in a nut-free, dairy-free facility that has been certified gluten-free by the Gluten Intolerance Group. And, all of their products are also Kosher. You can read more by checking out their website.

Right now, Katz is holding a raffle for a “Box of Katz.” It’s a box filled with all of their 30 products. Just go to the Katz Gluten Free Raffle Page to enter. Plus, you get to choose 10 of the products to get a second try of. Yum! It’s one entry per email address, and the drawing will be held January 3rd. So, go hurry and enter, but read on for my giveaway before you do.

A little while ago, my friend Heidi at Adventures of a Gluten-Free Mom had her own giveaway from Katz. And I won! I won a $25 gift certificate. But, the thing is, I haven’t had a chance to use it, yet. Katz is not in any store near me, but it can also be used online. I just hadn’t gotten around to deciding what I wanted. But after my Christmas incident, I need to get back to eating just fruits, veggies, lean meat, etc. for a while. Plus, just looking at anything with sugar in it right now makes me want to hurl. But, let’s skip that.

The point is, you can benefit. I am going to give this gift certificate away to one of you. Just leave a comment below telling me which Katz product you would like to try most with your gift certificate. You can see all of Katz Gluten-Free products here.

There are bonus entries, if you so choose.

Those Rugelach are making my mouth water! YUM! I’ve sent you a friend request on Facebook, and I’ve “liked” Katz’s page on FB as well!

I know your pain with the hidden gluten attacks. I have talked to alot of people who ask can’t you just cheat a little…My response is it just isn’t worth the pain and suffering. I mean it isn’t like oops I ate too much sugar and I need to watch myself tomorrow…I get really really sick…Migraine headaches, stomach ache, sometimes I even get a low grade fever…Anyway I would really like a nice chocolate cupcake or Katz Vanilla Rugelach…
