Oh, yeah, baby! C is for cookie!
Gee, can you tell I’ve got fond memories of Sesame Street from childhood? And cookies?
Well, nowadays, it’s more like, healthier, less sugar, no high-fructose corn syrup, gluten-free, better-for-you-flour cookies.
Usually, I make my own cookies. Because I like to know exactly what is in them. But, every once in a while, it is nice to just be able to buy a treat already made. It would just be nice to have something a little closer to what I normally eat instead of sugar filled piece of fluff. A few months ago, I was contacted by Nutritious Creations to try some of their gluten-free vegan cookies. Needless to say, I said yes. They sent quite a few cookies, and I was going to save some for a giveaway. But…
Well…
We ate them all instead.
Sorry.
Not don’t fret, though. Just because I love you all so much (and I felt super guilty for doing something you didn’t even know about), I spent my own money to get more of these cookies to do a little giveaway. It’s not much, but I would love for you to try them.
Seriously! For vegan, gluten-free, not-made-in-my-own-oven cookies, these are pretty tasty. I dug all three flavors that were sent to me: Carrot Cake, Banana Nut, and Chocolate Chip. (I passed on the Coconut.) But our favorites were Banana Nut and Chocolate Chip. The texture was/is good. Not too sweet, but you still feel like you are eating a cookie. Good stuff.
In honor of our favorites, we are giving away two of each to two lucky winners. That’s two Banana Nut cookies and two Chocolate Chip cookies. Oh, by the way, these are big cookies. You know. The kind you see as you are checking out of Whole Paycheck Foods? That’s them.
So, if anyone is interested in having 4 cookies magically show up on your doorstep, leave a comment below telling me your favorite Sesame Street character of all time.
Oh, and I’m old school (as in the show started a few months before I was born) so I really hope to not see too many Elmos in the comments. I just have a hard time with the whole talking-in-third-person thing. I mean, he’s like 20-something, now. Come on.
Of course, there are the usual ways to get extra entries.

“I’m counting, counting counting!” My favorite character is The Count, of course. I love math and this dude rocks! Thanks for offering the giveaway – I love cookies (gluten-free, of course). Also your ideas are wonderful and I really enjoy your site.
Oooo. I love the Count. I am also a math fan. Does that mean we are geeks? The laugh is the best. The Big Man said that he noticed his teeth aren’t as sharp as they were when we were kids. Bummer. Really?! They are felt.

I always thought Mr Noodle was so funny! He is not really a character on Sesame Street. So my other favorite is Count. Count Dracula would say 1,2.3 ah ah ah ah… so funny. My daughter who is 19 now, would go around saying that all day! Sesame Street is soooo cute!!!! Thanks for all your helpful ideas!!!
As a true cookie lover myself, Cookie Monster has always been my favorite Seasme Street character. I love the way he just shoves everything in his mouth, and doesn’t mind making a mess (maybe it’s jealousy, I hate to get messy while eating, but sometimes wish I wouldn’t mind it so much).
These cookies sound great, I’ll have to check them out. Thanks!
I was always confused as to why the food went everywhere instead of in his mouth. Took me a long time to realize the muppets weren’t really real. I liked to “believe.”

BRRRRRRRingggggg… BAARRRRRRRINGGGG
I have to say that, to this day it’s the aliens with the phone. Ring tones on my phone… sound clips… you name it. They still make me grin in that creepy-makes-the-kids-scared kinda way!
yupyupyup yup.
I love that one. When we were finding clips for Max on youtube, the Big Man had to find that one specifically. If we weren’t friends, I would so be stealing that ring tone idea. Love it!

My favorite is Kermit the Frog
He has a way of making you happy when your sad (or even if your not sad). He is always in an up beat mood. I remember he was always cheering Big Bird up and there was that happy ending to that clip.
